I was looking for an internship during the spring, so my choices were limited. I was able to take the term off, but many companies didn’t have spring internships. Just like you always hear, it’s all about connections. My mother knew someone who’s wife worked at the company. I contacted her and through this roundabout connection I was able to intern from April until June. I was the only intern and had the chance to excel before all of the summer interns arrived.
